Highsider Turn Signal Mounts

The Highsider turn signal mounts are the parts that put an indicator where the bike needs it: fork clamps, M8 threaded brackets, mounting plates, extenders, stems and housings. Almost all of them are universal; what changes from one to the next is a measurement.

If the indicator goes on the fork

Clamps and brackets are chosen by the fork tube diameter, which Highsider groups into four ranges: 35-37 mm, 38-41 mm, 42-43 mm and 47 to 54 mm (47, 49, 50, 52 and 54). Measure the tube with a calliper where the clamp will sit and pick the range that includes it. They come in black and chrome, and several are aluminium.

If there is already a hole to reuse

For the opening left by the original indicator or the one on the tail there are Indy and Iso 1 mounting plates, Indy Spacer spacers with their cover, tapered bushes for an M8 thread and adapters for fitting the original indicator to a number plate holder. Plastic covers for M8 threads hide the stem and leave a clean finish.

If it needs more room

An indicator hidden by the mudguard, a pannier or the fairing no longer meets the visibility it is required to have. M8 extenders and 25 and 65 mm stems move it out a few centimetres. There are also replacement lenses (Bullet-Light and Ochsenaugen, in amber or smoked) and aluminium housings for LED units.

Once the bracket is settled, you choose the indicator among the Highsider turn signals, and our guide to motorcycle turn signals explains what the inspection checks.
