IXIL L2X Exhausts

IXIL L2X exhausts belong to the Dual Hyperlow family: a compact silencer with a twin outlet, a satin stainless steel body and bright anodised aluminium end caps. The line covers sports and naked bikes from 2007 to 2020, swapping the often long and heavy stock silencer for a short one with two exits.

Bikes with an L2X

• Supersports: Kawasaki ZX-6R 2009-2013 and ZX 636 R 2013-2020, and Suzuki GSX-R 600 and 750, with one part number for 2008-2010 and another for 2011-2016.
• Superbike: Kawasaki ZX-10R 2008-2010.
• Naked: Honda Hornet 600 and CBR 600 F 2007-2014, Suzuki Gladius 650 and the 2010-2020 Kawasaki Z 1000 and Z 1000 SX, which get a pair of silencers, just like stock.
• 125s: Honda CBR 125 R 2011-2015 and Benelli TNT 125.

L2X or L3XB

The L3XB is the larger, black version of this twin outlet, and it reaches the bikes that came later: the Hornet 600 and the GSX-Rs are no longer in it, but the CB 650 F, SV 650 and Z 900 are. The L2X keeps the shine of steel and polished aluminium, which suits brightly coloured fairings. On an older bike, also check the gasket and clamp at the header joint and replace them if they are burnt. The other ranges are under IXIL, and questions about road approval and inspections for any silencer are answered in motorcycle exhausts.
