IXRACE M8 Exhausts

The IXRACE M8 exhaust is a wide-mouthed conical silencer, tapering from 130 to 100 mm, 280 mm long, with an AISI 304 stainless steel body in satin black and a carbon fibre end cap. It has more presence than a short cone and is aimed at the latest naked bikes.

Bikes covered by the M8

• Honda: 2024-2026 CB 500 Hornet, CBR 500 R and NX500, 2023-2024 CB 750 Hornet and 2025-2026 CB 1000 Hornet and SP.
• Kawasaki: Z 900, with three part numbers depending on year and version.
• KTM: 2024-2026 990 Duke and Duke R, and 2025-2026 990 RC R and Track.

The Z 900: take care

It is the bike with the most options and the one that raises the most questions. MK7072B covers the 2016-2024 bike, although only up to 2019 on the 92 kW version and from 2017 to 2024 on the A2; MK7058B is for the 2020-2024 92 kW bike, and MK7030B for the 2025-2026 Z 900, SE and A2. Check your bike's documents to see whether it is the full-power or the restricted version before you choose.

Every M8 states CE approval for its bike and has a dB killer at both inlet and outlet. If you would rather have a shorter silencer, the IXRACE MK2 also comes in black; the other lines are under IXRACE, and how an aftermarket exhaust gets through a roadworthiness check is covered in motorcycle exhausts.
