The Puig Z-Racing screen for the 2022-2026 KTM RC125 and RC390 replaces the screen on the original fairing, giving the bike a sportier look while improving wind protection. Its double-bubble shape directs airflow away from the helmet and upper torso.
Puig develops the shape using a virtual wind tunnel to reduce air pressure on the rider. An artificial-vision system is used during production to check the quality of each screen.
- Aerodynamic improvement: an average of 12.7% when riding upright and up to 61% in a racing position, compared with the original screen.
- Side channels: guide air outwards to help reduce pressure on the rider’s shoulders.
- Thickness: 3 mm.
- Edge: a rounded profile of more than 2 mm that meets TÜV safety requirements.
- UV resistance: helps the screen retain its durability.
- Weight: 997 g.
No additional edge trim is needed for fitting. The screen has ABE approval KBA 38182 VS3; check the ABE documents to confirm that your specific motorcycle model is covered.
