License Plate Light Adapter Cables

Puig's number plate light adapter cables solve the step that raises most questions when fitting a tail tidy: wiring up the plate light. Puig lights use a universal connector, while your bike uses its manufacturer's own, so the two do not match. This cable has one at each end.

What it saves you

• Cutting and soldering: it plugs into the bike's original connector, leaving the loom untouched.
• Running short of cable: it also works as an extension, since the light moves to a different spot on a short tail tidy.
• Trouble going back: if you ever refit the stock bracket, the wiring is still intact.

Which one fits your bike

Each adapter matches a type of connector, which is why some suit bikes from several brands that share it: 20547N for Yamaha, Ducati, Triumph, Suzuki and Aprilia models, 3850N for Yamaha, Kawasaki and Kymco, or 3846N for Yamaha, Honda and CFMOTO. Others are for one model or family, such as the MT-07, Ténéré 700 and Tracer 7, the Street Triple 765, the S 1000 R and RR or the GSX-8R and 8S. The list of bikes and years is on each product page.

They are for the plate light only; if you also want to keep your factory indicators, look at the original indicator brackets. The tail tidies they connect to are in Puig tail tidies, and the brand's full catalogue sits under Puig.
