Accessories for the Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally

Long road journeys, weekends away with a pillion and winding cross-country routes all suit the Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally. As a touring-focused adventure bike, it benefits from accessories that address wind exposure, protect vulnerable areas and make the controls comfortable to use over a full day. Your balance of motorway miles, smaller roads and town riding provides a useful starting point when deciding which parts deserve attention first, rather than concentrating purely on appearance.

What riders usually fit to the Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally

• Screens: Sustained motorway riding makes wind management a priority on a touring adventure bike. A screen helps redirect airflow away from your torso, while its height and shape affect where that air goes when you are sitting in the Caponord’s upright riding position.
• Protectors: Touring involves more than covering miles: fuel stops, unfamiliar parking areas and slow manoeuvres are part of the journey too. Protectors help shield the areas they cover from knocks and scrapes, making them a practical consideration for a Caponord used regularly for trips away.
• Mirrors: Moving between motorways, country roads and busy towns means keeping track of traffic behind you in different surroundings. On an upright adventure bike, mirror positioning matters because your arms and shoulders can occupy part of the reflected view instead of the road.
• Levers: Twisting roads and traffic through towns bring repeated use of the brake and clutch. Lever shape and the way your fingers rest on it are worth considering on the Caponord, particularly when a day's touring combines hours of riding with frequent changes of pace.
