Accessories for the Aprilia Mana 850 GT

The Aprilia Mana 850 GT suits riders who mix everyday journeys with longer days on the road. Its touring focus makes wind protection worth considering, while regular town use puts more emphasis on protection during parking manoeuvres and on the controls you use in traffic. The most useful accessories therefore depend on how much of your riding is commuting and how much is travelling further afield.

What riders usually fit to the Aprilia Mana 850 GT

• Screens: A screen helps redirect airflow on longer road journeys. If your Mana regularly takes you away for the weekend, think about the coverage you want in your normal riding position rather than choosing a screen purely for the way it looks.
• Crash bungs and bars: These are useful considerations for a GT that gets parked and manoeuvred every day, or taken to unfamiliar stopping places on tour. They help limit damage if the bike tips over while stationary or falls at low speed.
• Mirrors: Commuting and touring place different demands on rearward visibility, from watching approaching traffic before a lane change to preparing an overtake on an open road. The position of the mirrors relative to your arms matters if you want a useful view without shifting your body.
• Levers: Stop-start town riding means reaching for the brake repeatedly, unlike a steady stretch of open road. On a Mana used for the daily commute, lever shape is worth considering because it affects where your fingers rest when you operate the brake.

Choosing parts for your Mana 850 GT’s year

The Mana 850 GT has changed over the years, with 2009-2016 and 2017-2023 versions shown here. Parts are not all interchangeable between the two. Choose your bike’s year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours, rather than relying on the model name alone when deciding which parts to use.
