Accessories for the Aprilia RSV4 1000 RR

The Aprilia RSV4 1000 RR is a sports bike used for road riding and track days, where riding position and access to the controls take priority over carrying luggage. Preparing one for weekends on winding roads is not quite the same as preparing it for regular circuit sessions. Your choice of accessories should reflect how you divide your riding between the two.

What riders usually fit to the Aprilia RSV4 1000 RR

• Screens: wind protection on a sports bike depends partly on how far you tuck down over the tank. Screen height and shape affect the shelter available both in a track riding position and when sitting a little taller on the road.
• Levers: repeated braking and clutch use on twisty roads make finger placement worth considering. Lever shape influences how you reach the controls with gloves on, helping you find a comfortable hand position without shifting your grip each time you operate them.
• Protectors: these can help limit damage to the areas they cover if the bike goes down. For an RSV4 used on circuit, protecting exposed parts is a practical priority before spending time on purely cosmetic changes.
• Fasteners: a faired sports bike gives these small parts a useful role, particularly when panels come off for maintenance or track preparation. Replacement fasteners also offer a way to tidy up visible fittings while keeping attention on how the bodywork is secured.
• Number plate holders: on a road-going RSV4, these change how the number plate sits visually within the rear of the bike. They are chiefly a styling choice, helping tailor the appearance of the tail rather than altering the riding position or wind protection.

For road-focused riding, start with comfort at the controls and shelter from the wind. If track days feature regularly, give protection and the condition of frequently removed fittings greater attention.
