Accessories for the Aprilia SRV 850

The Aprilia SRV 850 is a maxi-scooter suited to everyday journeys as well as time on the open road. In town, a clear view behind and security when parked matter; on longer rides, wind protection becomes more noticeable. The accessories worth fitting therefore depend on whether most of your miles are spent in traffic, on faster roads or a mixture of both.

What riders usually fit to the Aprilia SRV 850

• Mirrors: useful when moving between busy streets and faster roads, where a good view of traffic behind you makes lane changes easier to judge. Puig is one of the accessory brands listed for this scooter.
• Protection: worth considering for a scooter that may be parked often during the week but also taken out for longer rides. Protective parts help look after the areas they are designed for in minor knocks or a stationary drop.
• Security locks: relevant if you regularly leave the SRV 850 parked away from home or stop during a ride. They address a different need from riding accessories, particularly when the scooter is part of your daily routine.
• Screens: an option for riders who spend more time on the road and want less direct exposure to the wind. The benefit is likely to matter more over sustained journeys than on a short trip across town.
• Handlebar accessories: these can help tailor the points you use to control the scooter. That becomes more relevant when a journey includes both stop-start traffic and extended periods on the road.

Aprilia SRV 850 versions by year

The SRV 850 has changed over the years, with 2012-2016 and 2017-2023 versions listed here. Parts intended for one version will not necessarily fit the other, even when they perform the same job. Choose your scooter’s year on this page to see only items that fit yours, whether you are looking at mirrors, protection or a screen.

That leaves you free to focus on what suits your riding without mixing up parts for different versions.
