Accessories for the BMW K 1600 B Bagger

Long road trips and relaxed touring are a natural fit for the BMW K 1600 B Bagger. Its bagger styling also makes appearance part of the appeal, so choosing accessories is about more than preparing for mileage. Wind protection and comfortable controls deserve attention for full days in the saddle, while protective and styling parts address the practicalities of stopping along the way and the look you want for your bike.

What riders usually fit to the BMW K 1600 B Bagger

• Screens: Motorway stretches put wind management high on the list for this touring BMW. A screen helps redirect airflow away from your upper body; its height should suit your seated position while allowing a comfortable view of the road ahead.
• Protectors: Slow manoeuvres in hotel car parks and unfamiliar stopping places are part of touring. Protective parts can help limit scuffs or damage to the areas they cover during minor mishaps, complementing accessories chosen for comfort over distance.
• Levers: Town traffic at either end of a trip and winding roads both keep your hands busy. Levers with a shape that suits your grip can make repeated use of the controls more comfortable during a long ride.
• Bodywork and styling: A bagger's visual finish matters alongside its touring role. Bodywork and styling accessories let you personalise the K 1600 B's appearance, whether you prefer subtle changes or details that stand out, while keeping a coherent look across the bike.
• Motorcycle covers: When a touring stop includes an overnight stay, a cover helps keep dust and dirt off the bike while it is parked. Between trips, it also helps you look after the finishes that contribute to the bagger's distinctive appearance.
