Accessories for the BMW M 1000 RR

The BMW M 1000 RR is a sports bike with a strong track focus, but its riding life can include road outings too. That makes rider contact points, protection and airflow useful priorities when choosing accessories. What suits a tucked-in position on a circuit straight may serve a different purpose on a longer road ride, so start with how you use your bike.

What riders usually fit to the BMW M 1000 RR

• Levers: braking and clutch control are central to sports riding, particularly through repeated laps. Lever shape and reach influence how comfortably your gloved fingers work the controls while your upper body is positioned forward on the bike.
• Footpegs: secure boot support matters when shifting your body across the bike on track. For road use, the relationship between your feet and your seated position also deserves attention, especially when spending longer periods with your knees bent.
• Crash protection and guards: these aim to limit damage to the areas they cover in a fall. They are worth considering for track days as well as the less dramatic risks of manoeuvring the M 1000 RR at a standstill.
• Screens: screen shape affects airflow around the rider. Think about the shelter you need when tucked in on a straight, but also how you sit on the road, where you may spend more time in a less crouched position.
• Handlebars: hand position influences wrist loading and your stance on the bike. This becomes particularly relevant when the M 1000 RR has to accommodate both focused circuit sessions and longer rides on winding roads.

Choosing parts for your BMW M 1000 RR's year

The BMW M 1000 RR has changed over the years, and the 2023, 2024 and 2025-2026 versions do not share every accessory. Parts such as levers, screens and handlebars are not necessarily interchangeable across those versions. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours.
