Accessories for the CFMOTO 800MT Sport Plus

Long road rides and weekends away are a natural fit for the CFMOTO 800MT Sport Plus. As an adventure bike used for touring, it benefits from attention to wind protection, riding position and luggage. Your priorities will depend on the journeys you make: a few hours on winding roads calls for a different approach from several days away with a pillion and overnight kit.

What riders usually fit to the CFMOTO 800MT Sport Plus

For a mix of everyday riding and longer trips, these accessories address practical needs rather than simply changing the bike's appearance. Start with the areas that matter most on your usual routes.

• Windscreens: help manage airflow on motorway stretches and open roads. For touring on the 800MT Sport Plus, consider screen height alongside your seated position, aiming for useful wind protection while keeping a clear view of the road ahead.
• Footpegs: give your feet a platform for sustained riding, making them worth considering when refining your touring position. On trips that include occasional tracks, foot support also matters when you stand up rather than remain seated.
• Crash protectors and bars: can help limit damage to the areas they cover in a stationary drop or low-speed fall. They are particularly relevant when manoeuvring a loaded touring bike into parking spaces or stopping at overnight accommodation.
• Luggage: provides space for clothes and travel essentials without carrying everything in a rucksack. For two-up trips, plan how you divide the load and preserve the room your pillion needs to sit comfortably and get on the bike.
• Phone mounts: put navigation within view when exploring unfamiliar roads. With an upright riding position, a useful mounting location lets you glance at directions without obscuring the instruments or restricting handlebar movement.

If the bike also handles your daily commute, keep luggage capacity proportionate to the journey. A week away demands more carrying space than an ordinary ride across town.
