Accessories for the Ducati Monster 600

Commuting through town and heading out onto winding roads put different demands on the Ducati Monster 600. This road-going naked suits both, so the most useful accessories depend on how you spend your time riding it. Handlebars and mirrors help shape your riding position, while protection and suspension serve different priorities for everyday journeys and leisure rides.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati Monster 600

• Handlebars: a handlebar change can alter your reach to the controls and the way your arms and wrists sit on the Monster. For town riding, a natural position matters during frequent manoeuvres; on longer outings, it becomes more about finding a posture you can comfortably maintain throughout the ride.
• Protectors: these are intended to limit damage to the areas they cover if the bike goes over. A Monster used for daily transport encounters plenty of parking and low-speed manoeuvring, making protection worth considering even when fast road riding is not part of your routine.
• Mirrors: they influence both the view behind and the appearance of this naked. In busy streets, a useful view of surrounding traffic deserves priority over a smaller silhouette. Out on country roads, mirror positioning should let you keep track of following vehicles without having to shift awkwardly in the saddle.
• Suspension: worth considering when you want to tailor the Monster more closely to your regular journeys. Uneven urban roads and a favourite set of bends call for different priorities. Think about comfort as well as control, particularly if the same bike handles weekday travel and weekend rides.

Treat handlebars and mirrors as a pair when planning changes. Your normal riding position should give you both a comfortable reach to the controls and a clear, usable view behind.
