Accessories for the Ducati Monster 600 Dark

The Ducati Monster 600 Dark is a naked bike suited to town riding and outings on winding roads. With this style of motorcycle, your position at the bars and protection for exposed areas are useful starting points when choosing accessories. The priorities depend on your routine: a Monster used for the daily commute has different needs from one brought out mainly for weekend rides.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati Monster 600 Dark

• Handlebars: bar shape influences where your arms and wrists sit on this naked bike. That matters when making tight turns around town as well as spending longer stretches on country roads. A handlebar change can help tailor the riding position to the way you use your Monster.
• Protectors: the Monster’s unfaired layout leaves much of its mechanical hardware exposed. Protectors help limit damage to the areas they cover in minor mishaps. They are particularly worth considering for urban use, where parking and manoeuvring in confined spaces are part of everyday riding.
• Stands and stand accessories: for a Monster used mainly on weekend runs, time in the garage is part of the routine too. Accessories that support the bike are useful when it is parked or being cared for between rides, giving this category a practical role away from the road.
• Covers and blankets: a storage cover is useful if your Monster spends several days parked between outings. Covering this naked bike helps keep dust off the seat and exposed surfaces, especially in a shared garage or when it is not your everyday transport.

For regular commuting, give riding position and protection particular attention. If your Monster is mainly a leisure bike, it also makes sense to consider how you support and cover it between rides.
