Accessories for the Ducati Monster 900

The Ducati Monster 900 suits everyday journeys as well as weekends spent on winding roads. As a naked bike, it puts the riding position and exposed components at the centre of accessory choices. Setting yours up for regular town use may mean focusing on the bars, mirrors and protection, while road-focused improvements can make more sense if most of your riding happens away from traffic.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati Monster 900

• Handlebars: bar height and width influence how you sit on the Monster and reach its controls. For a mix of commuting and country roads, a relaxed arm position matters more than choosing a shape purely for its appearance.
• Protectors: the Monster's naked layout leaves parts of the bike exposed. Protection can help limit damage from minor knocks or a stationary drop, particularly if your daily routine involves tight parking spaces and frequent low-speed manoeuvres.
• Mirrors: keeping track of following traffic is useful when changing lanes through town. Mirrors also stand out on the Monster's uncluttered front end, making them a way to alter its appearance while retaining a practical role on everyday rides.
• Suspension: winding roads put the focus on how the bike absorbs uneven surfaces and controls its movement. Replacement suspension components are worth considering when your aim is to refresh the Monster's road behaviour rather than simply change its looks.
• Stands and supports: a maintenance stand is useful if you look after your Monster at home between rides. It supports the bike during suitable cleaning and inspection tasks, making this a practical addition to a weekend rider's garage.

For a Monster used throughout the week, start with a comfortable reach to the controls and a useful rearward view. Protection and suspension then address different priorities: everyday mishaps and time spent enjoying country roads.
