Accessories for the Ducati SuperSport 750 SS

The Ducati SuperSport 750 SS is a road-going sports bike suited to winding roads and weekend rides. For that sort of use, accessory choices revolve around your position on the bike, protection and keeping it in good working order. This page covers the 1991–1998 model years, with handlebar options alongside protectors, filters and suspension components.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati SuperSport 750 SS

• Handlebars: the relationship between your hands and upper body becomes more noticeable as a ride gets longer. On the SuperSport 750 SS, handlebar choices are worth considering if you want to rethink your riding position while retaining the freedom to move naturally through a series of bends.
• Protectors: weekend rides include fuel stops, parking and low-speed manoeuvres, even when most of your time is spent on open roads. Protectors provide an extra barrier against scuffs and minor knocks in the areas they cover, particularly useful if your Ducati also sees regular town use.
• Filters: when your Ducati comes out mainly for leisure rides, routine maintenance still deserves attention between outings. Filters belong on that practical side of preparation: their role is to support proper running, rather than serve as a shortcut to extra performance.
• Suspension: on winding roads, predictable support matters as you turn in and ride over uneven surfaces. Suspension components are relevant when working on the balance between support and comfort, especially if a typical day on your SuperSport takes in roads with very different surface conditions.

If discomfort cuts your rides short, assess your riding position before focusing on other changes. Ergonomic and suspension improvements should sit alongside routine servicing, rather than take its place.
