Accessories for the Ducati SuperSport 900 SS

The Ducati SuperSport 900 SS is a sports bike for winding roads and weekend outings. Accessories make most sense when they support that sort of riding: a position that stays comfortable over a longer run, protection for everyday mishaps and attention to the parts that influence how the bike feels on the road. The starting point is how you use your SuperSport, rather than appearance alone.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati SuperSport 900 SS

• Handlebars: on a road-going sports bike, the relationship between your hands and upper body matters on longer outings as well as shorter rides through the bends. Handlebar choice helps shape your riding position and reach to the controls, making this a useful area to consider for extended days in the saddle.
• Protectors: even if most of your miles are on open roads, parking and low-speed manoeuvres are still part of an outing. For a SuperSport that also sees town use, protectors can help limit damage from certain knocks or falls to the areas they cover, without making the bike damage-proof.
• Filters: weekend riding still calls for attention to the engine, not just the parts you see and touch. Filters retain impurities and belong in the maintenance plans for a SuperSport used for regular road outings, alongside the more noticeable changes to riding position and handling.
• Suspension: on winding roads, suspension plays a part in how the bike settles into a bend and deals with uneven surfaces. It deserves attention when preparing your SuperSport for routes that mix smooth sections with rougher stretches of tarmac.

For longer days out, give riding position more weight in your plans. If your journeys also involve urban stops, localised protection becomes more relevant.
