Accessories for the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP2

The Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP2 is a sports bike suited to both road riding and track days. Accessories make most sense when they reflect how you divide your time between the two. On the road, comfort in a tucked riding position matters over longer stretches; on track, secure contact with the bike and comfortable use of the controls become priorities. Protection is worth considering before purely cosmetic changes.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP2

• Windscreens: help manage airflow when you tuck down over the tank. For a Fireblade SP2 used on both road and track, consider how often you ride tucked in compared with sitting more upright between corners or on longer journeys.
• Protectors: can help limit damage to the areas they cover during a fall or slide. They are a sensible priority when preparing your SP2 for track days, although no protector can prevent every kind of crash damage.
• Levers: shape matters at the point where your fingers meet the brake and clutch controls. On twisty roads and during track sessions, a comfortable lever profile can make repeated use of those controls feel more natural.
• Footrests: provide support as you shift your body position through corners. Grip is particularly relevant to the Fireblade SP2's sporting use, while leg position deserves equal attention if your riding also includes longer stretches on the road.
• Paddock stands and side stands: paddock stands are useful when your sports bike spends time in the garage or pit area. An appropriate stand supports the bike for cleaning and maintenance, whether between sessions or after a day of riding.
