Accessories for the Honda CLR 125 City Fly

Daily journeys through town and rides along nearby country roads give the Honda CLR 125 City Fly a practical role. The most useful accessories support that kind of riding: a comfortable reach to the controls, a clear view behind and some relief from the wind beyond the built-up areas. Your balance of town streets and open roads helps determine which changes deserve attention first.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CLR 125 City Fly

• Screens: A screen becomes more useful when your commute includes stretches of open road rather than just short hops between junctions. It helps redirect airflow, making wind protection worth considering for a City Fly that regularly takes you beyond the town centre.
• Handlebars: Frequent turns and stop-start traffic put the focus on a relaxed, manageable riding position. Handlebar choice affects your reach to the controls and the position of your arms and back, so the aim for daily town riding is to avoid an awkward stretch.
• Mirrors: Junctions, merging traffic and lane changes make a useful rearward view particularly important on an urban run. For a City Fly used as everyday transport, being able to see approaching traffic from your normal riding position matters more than choosing the smallest-looking mirrors.
• Protectors: Regular kerbside parking and manoeuvring in tight spaces can expose a daily-use bike to knocks and scuffs. Protectors help limit damage to the areas they cover, giving them a practical purpose on a City Fly that spends much of its working life around town.

For predominantly urban journeys, focus first on riding position and rearward visibility. When open-road stretches become a regular part of your route, wind protection moves higher up the list.
