Accessories for the Honda CMX 250 Rebel

The Honda CMX 250 Rebel is a cruiser suited to everyday journeys and unhurried rides on quieter roads. Accessories make most sense when they support that kind of riding: a comfortable reach to the bars, a useful view behind and less wind on longer outings. Whether your Rebel spends more time in town or out on the road helps set your priorities.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CMX 250 Rebel

• Handlebars: The bars play a big part in the riding position you create on this cruiser. Their shape and height affect how far you reach, so a town-and-country Rebel benefits from a setup that keeps your arms relaxed while allowing easy steering during slow manoeuvres.
• Windscreens: A screen is worth considering if your Rebel regularly takes you beyond urban streets. It can reduce wind pressure on your upper body during longer road rides, making it a practical addition rather than just a change to the bike's cruiser looks.
• Mirrors: Daily riding means keeping track of traffic at junctions and before changing lanes. On the CMX 250 Rebel, think of mirrors and handlebars together: the position of your arms can affect the rearward view, especially if you change the bar shape.
• Protectors: A Rebel used for commuting is likely to spend plenty of time being parked and manoeuvred in tight spaces. Protective accessories help shield the areas they cover from scuffs; they make sense when preserving the finish matters more than adding decorative details.

If you change the handlebars, reassess the mirror position from your normal riding posture. For weekends on the open road, a windscreen is a separate, useful way to address wind exposure without changing your reach to the controls.
