Accessories for the Honda CRF450X

The Honda CRF450X is an enduro bike built around riding away from tarmac. Out on tracks and trails, the useful additions are not necessarily the ones you would choose for a road bike. Protection matters when the ground gets rough, the controls see plenty of use at low speeds, and stopping to check the bike is part of a day out. Those riding conditions give a practical starting point for deciding what to fit to your CRF450X.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CRF450X

The accessories available for this bike cover the parts of an off-road ride where a little extra practicality can make a difference:

• Protectors: rocky ground, ruts and trails lined with branches can all put exposed areas of the bike in harm’s way. On the CRF450X, protection makes sense for riders who regularly tackle tight or uneven sections and want to be less concerned about knocks and scrapes.
• Mirrors: these come into their own when a ride includes stretches of road between trails, giving you a view of traffic behind. On narrower paths, their position around the handlebars is also worth considering where vegetation comes close to the bike.
• Levers: clutch and brake inputs are frequent when picking your way through slow, technical terrain. Levers for the CRF450X are useful when a damaged one needs replacing, particularly if a fall has affected a control you rely on for the rest of the ride.
• Stands and support legs: a place to rest the bike is handy during the stops that punctuate an enduro outing. Whether you are taking a break or attending to a small adjustment before continuing, supporting the bike makes those pauses easier to manage.

Think about where your CRF450X spends most of its time. Tight trails and rides with road sections place different demands on mirrors and protection, while frequent stops make practical support worth considering.
