Accessories for HONDA LEAD 100

Honda Lead 100 accessories for everyday riding

The Honda Lead 100 is an urban scooter suited to commuting, running errands and getting around town. With frequent stops and short journeys shaping its everyday use, useful accessories tend to focus on wind protection, coping with the weather and security when parked. Rather than setting it up for long-distance touring, it makes sense to address the situations you encounter on your regular journeys.

What riders usually fit to the Honda Lead 100

• Windscreens: a screen helps reduce the wind reaching you when your route takes you from sheltered side streets onto more exposed main roads. For a Lead 100 used throughout the working week, that makes wind protection a practical consideration for the daily commute.
• Protectors: moving the Lead 100 out of a parking space, past parked cars or into a narrow storage area can leave exposed parts vulnerable to knocks. Protective accessories help limit the effects of minor bumps and scrapes during these everyday urban manoeuvres.
• Phone mounts: keeping your phone secured as a navigation device is useful when your errands take you to several unfamiliar addresses. This is particularly relevant if you use the Lead 100 for changing routes around town rather than following the same familiar commute every day.
• Covers and leg covers: year-round scooter use brings weather protection into the picture, but these accessories serve different purposes. A motorcycle cover shelters the parked scooter, whereas a leg cover is intended to shield your legs during colder journeys on the Lead 100.
• Security locks: stopping at shops or leaving the Lead 100 outside work can mean spending considerable time parked on the street. A lock adds a security measure to that stop-start routine, including the brief errands when you are only away from the scooter for a short while.
