Accessories for the Honda SW-T400

The Honda SW-T400 is a maxi-scooter suited to everyday commuting as well as trips beyond town. The right accessories depend on how you divide your riding between urban streets and longer road journeys. Wind protection and weather coverage matter more on exposed routes, while extra luggage space helps when your scooter handles both the working week and weekends away.

What riders usually fit to the Honda SW-T400

• Windscreens: A useful way to reduce wind pressure on your upper body when your commute includes faster roads. For an SW-T400 regularly used outside town, wind protection can make longer stretches in the saddle more comfortable.
• Handlebars: Your choice affects the position of your arms and hands. On this maxi-scooter, consider the riding position you need for low-speed urban manoeuvres alongside comfort during the longer road sections of your daily journey.
• Bike covers and leg covers: Leg covers provide extra warmth for commuting through colder weather. Bike covers serve a different purpose, covering your SW-T400 while it is parked, particularly when you leave it outdoors between rides.
• Security locks: Worth making part of your routine if the scooter spends the working day on the street. They are also useful when your urban riding involves several stops for errands rather than one regular parking spot.
• Luggage: Extra carrying space helps with work essentials during the week and belongings for a weekend trip. It becomes particularly useful when you take a passenger and need room for both riders' things.

Choosing parts for your SW-T400's year

The SW-T400 has changed over the years, with versions covering 2009-2010, 2011-2013 and 2014-2016. Parts such as handlebars cannot be treated as interchangeable across all of them. Choose your scooter's year on this page to see only the accessories that fit your version.
