Accessories for the Honda VFR750F

The Honda VFR750F sits between sports riding and touring, equally at home on a winding-road outing or a longer road trip. That mix puts riding position, protection and luggage high on the list when choosing accessories. The useful additions depend on whether your VFR mainly handles weekend rides, everyday journeys or holidays with a pillion.

What riders usually fit to the Honda VFR750F

• Handlebars: Long stretches between bends make your hand position worth thinking about on the VFR750F. Handlebar options are a starting point when adapting the riding position for more touring, rather than focusing solely on shorter, sporty outings.
• Protectors: Touring involves more than open roads: there are parking stops and low-speed manoeuvres, sometimes with luggage aboard. Protectors can help limit damage from minor knocks or a stationary drop during those less glamorous parts of a trip.
• Luggage cases: For overnight trips on the VFR750F, cases give clothing and other essentials somewhere to go without carrying everything on your back. They are particularly useful when travelling with a pillion means finding room for two people's belongings.
• Mudguards: A VFR used for touring will not always be out in dry weather. A mudguard helps contain spray from the wheel, making it a practical addition for wet-weather road trips as well as regular commuting.

Choosing parts for your VFR750F's year

The VFR750F has changed over the years, so the 1990-1993 and 1994-1997 versions do not always take the same parts. Items such as handlebars, protectors and exhausts can differ between them; a part intended for one version is not necessarily suitable for the other.
