Accessories for the Honda VT750DC Black Widow

The Honda VT750DC Black Widow is a custom cruiser suited to relaxed road rides, weekend outings and everyday journeys. Equipping it starts with the things you notice from the saddle: your reach to the handlebars, wind pressure on open roads and the view in your mirrors. Whether you mostly ride through town or head out for longer days helps decide which changes are worthwhile.

What riders usually fit to the Honda VT750DC Black Widow

• Handlebars: a different rise or reach changes where your hands sit and how you hold your upper body. For unhurried miles on the Black Widow, aim for relaxed arms without a stretch to the controls when turning the bars during tight parking manoeuvres.
• Screens: useful when a weekend cruise includes faster roads, a screen helps divert airflow away from your torso. On this custom, the aim is to balance wind protection with a clear view ahead and a shape that suits the look of the bike.
• Mirrors: these can alter the Black Widow’s appearance while providing a useful rearward view for town traffic and open-road riding. Their position should let you see past your arms, particularly when a handlebar change has also altered the width or height of your riding position.
• Protectors: these help reduce the effects of minor knocks and scuffs in the areas they cover. They make sense for a Black Widow used around town as well as on leisurely rides, especially when parking between other vehicles leaves little room for low-speed manoeuvres.

Plan handlebar, mirror and screen positions together rather than treating them as separate changes. With the bars turned fully in either direction, controls should clear surrounding parts without pulling cables or hoses tight.
