Accessories for the Honda VT750S

The Honda VT750S suits relaxed road rides as well as everyday trips through town. For this custom bike, useful accessories start with how you sit, where your hands rest and how much wind you face on longer outings. An urban commute puts the emphasis on manoeuvring and rearward visibility, while a weekend on open roads makes wind protection more relevant.

What riders usually fit to the Honda VT750S

• Handlebars. Changing the bars can alter your reach to the controls and the position of your arms. On a custom used for both town riding and leisurely outings, that makes them more than a styling choice: their shape affects your riding position throughout the journey.
• Mirrors. These can change the look of the VT750S while serving a practical purpose in traffic. For commuting and rides that pass through busy towns, a useful view beyond your arms and shoulders matters more than a mirror shape that looks good only when the bike is parked.
• Protectors. Daily use brings parking manoeuvres and frequent stops alongside the enjoyable road miles. Protectors help shield the areas they cover from scuffs or minor knocks, making them worth considering for a VT750S that handles weekday duties rather than only occasional weekend rides.
• Screens. A screen helps reduce wind pressure on your body when a short outing turns into a longer stretch on open roads. For relaxed rides beyond town, it addresses a different aspect of comfort from handlebars: less exposure to the airflow rather than a change in riding position.

Treat the handlebars and mirrors on your VT750S as a pair when changing the riding position. A comfortable reach to the grips should still leave you with a clear rearward view, rather than a reflection dominated by your arms.
