Accessories for HONDA WAVE

Accessories for your Honda Wave

Daily journeys shape what is useful on a Honda Wave. For commuting, shopping and short trips across town, the priorities are a comfortable riding position, some shelter from the wind and protection against minor knocks. Frequent stops and parking make practical additions worthwhile, while a commute that extends beyond town gives wind protection more importance.

What riders usually fit to the Honda Wave

• Handlebars: your hand position matters on a route full of junctions, turns and stop-start traffic. Handlebar accessories address this everyday contact point with the Wave, helping you tailor the riding position for regular journeys rather than occasional longer outings.
• Protectors: repeated errands mean repeated parking manoeuvres, sometimes with little room to move. Protectors help limit damage from minor knocks or stationary falls, making them a practical consideration for a Wave that spends its working week moving between busy urban destinations.
• Phone mounts: a mounted phone keeps navigation directions in view when you need an unfamiliar street or take a different route to work. Set your destination before moving off, so finding your way across town does not involve handling the phone while riding.
• Screens: these become more useful when your commute includes long main roads or stretches between towns. By deflecting some of the airflow, a screen provides shelter on parts of the journey where you spend less time waiting at traffic lights.
• Suspension: uneven local roads and journeys with a passenger bring suspension into focus. For a Wave used throughout the week, this category is relevant to ride comfort and the way the bike responds to potholes and changes in the road surface.

When fitting a screen alongside a phone mount, keep the controls accessible and make sure the phone does not obstruct handlebar movement during tight parking manoeuvres.
