Accessories for the Husqvarna Nuda 900R

Winding roads are a natural setting for the Husqvarna Nuda 900R, but this naked bike can also serve as everyday transport. The balance between those two uses shapes which accessories make sense: some wind protection for longer road stretches, protection for exposed parts and comfortable controls for both lively weekend rides and stop-start traffic.

What riders usually fit to the Husqvarna Nuda 900R

• Screens: useful when reaching your favourite roads involves a stretch of motorway. A screen helps divert some of the airflow away from your upper body on a naked bike. Its height and shape affect both the shelter it offers and the appearance of the front end.
• Protectors: with less bodywork surrounding the bike, exposed parts deserve attention. Protectors can help limit damage in a low-speed fall, making them a practical consideration for a Nuda that sees regular town use, parking manoeuvres and weekend rides rather than occasional outings alone.
• Mirrors: these influence rearward visibility as well as the Nuda's appearance. When your riding mixes urban traffic with open roads, a clear view behind matters more than a small silhouette, particularly if your arms obscure much of the reflection in your usual riding position.
• Levers: frequent braking and gear changes on twisty roads make the feel of the controls important. The same applies to a commute with repeated stops, where a lever shape that feels comfortable with your gloves is more useful than a purely cosmetic change.
• Number plate holders: a styling option for a visually cleaner rear end. They suit riders looking to emphasise the Nuda 900R's naked-bike appearance, although their role is different from accessories intended to make longer journeys more comfortable.

For mixed commuting and weekend riding, address wind exposure and control comfort first. Styling details can follow once you know which parts of your regular journeys call for a practical improvement.
