Accessories for HUSQVARNA SVARTPILEN 701

Accessories for the Husqvarna Svartpilen 701

The Husqvarna Svartpilen 701 is a naked bike suited to everyday town riding and outings on winding roads. Those two settings call for different priorities. Protection and comfortable use of the controls matter in traffic, while managing wind exposure becomes more relevant on longer road rides. The most useful accessories are the ones that address the journeys you actually make, rather than adding parts for every possible occasion.

What riders usually fit to the Husqvarna Svartpilen 701

For a mix of commuting and weekend riding, these accessory types each serve a distinct purpose.

• Screens: a naked bike leaves your upper body exposed to the airflow, particularly on faster roads between the twistier sections. A screen can redirect some of that air, making it a worthwhile consideration when your Svartpilen regularly takes you beyond town.
• Protectors: parking spaces, tight garages and low-speed manoeuvres are part of daily urban riding. Protective parts help limit damage to the areas they cover if the bike tips over or suffers a low-speed fall, putting the emphasis on everyday practicality.
• Tail tidies: changing the number plate holder can give the rear of your Svartpilen a less cluttered appearance. On a naked bike, that area is visually prominent, so it is a focused styling change while retaining a suitable arrangement for the plate and its lighting.
• Levers: repeated braking and clutch use in stop-start traffic make the contact between fingers and controls particularly important. Lever shape and reach deserve attention if your weekday rides involve queues and junctions, rather than treating these parts purely as a colour change.
• Phone mounts: navigation is useful both for finding an unfamiliar city address and following a weekend route. On the Svartpilen, positioning the phone within an easy glance should still leave the instruments visible and the handlebar controls unobstructed.

For mostly urban use, start with protection and the controls you work most often. A screen becomes a stronger priority when faster roads make up a substantial part of your riding.
