Accessories for the Hyosung GT125R

The Hyosung GT125R brings sports bike styling to everyday journeys and rides along winding roads. Those two uses call for different priorities: protection against minor mishaps matters around town, while wind protection becomes more relevant on open roads. Accessories can also refresh its appearance, but separating practical changes from cosmetic ones helps you decide what deserves attention first on a bike that doubles as weekday transport and weekend entertainment.

What riders usually fit to the Hyosung GT125R

• Screens: A useful addition to consider when your GT125R regularly ventures beyond urban streets. A screen helps redirect airflow away from your upper body, with its shape influencing coverage as you move between a more upright riding position and a tuck closer to the tank.
• Protectors: A stationary drop can leave conspicuous marks on a faired sports bike. Protectors help reduce ground contact around the areas they cover, making them particularly relevant when manoeuvring the GT125R through a cramped garage or into a tight parking space.
• Fasteners: Replacement fasteners let you renew worn fixings and tidy up visible details. The GT125R’s bodywork is a prominent part of its appearance, so attention to these smaller fittings makes sense when refreshing exterior panels or other visible parts.
• Levers: Replacing a damaged lever restores an important control contact point and can refresh the cockpit’s appearance. On a GT125R used for commuting, the brake and clutch get frequent attention through queues, junctions and repeated low-speed manoeuvres.
• Number plate holders: These offer a way to change the rear-end appearance and emphasise the sporty tail section. Their appeal is chiefly visual, rather than the everyday protection provided by a screen or protective accessories.

For a GT125R sharing commuting and leisure duties, protection and sound controls are sensible starting points. Give the screen greater priority if open-road riding fills most of your week.
