Accessories for the Kawasaki Eliminator 125

The Kawasaki Eliminator 125 is a cruiser suited to everyday journeys and unhurried rides on country roads. When fitting accessories, riding position, wind exposure and low-speed manoeuvres matter more than a sporty look. Whether your usual route stays in town or takes you further afield helps set the priorities for your bike.

What riders usually fit to the Kawasaki Eliminator 125

• Handlebars: Bar width and shape affect your reach to the controls and how you manoeuvre through town. For an Eliminator used on daily journeys, a comfortable arm position deserves as much attention as the look of the bars against the bike's cruiser styling.
• Windscreens: A screen helps divert some of the airflow away from your torso when your route leaves town. On the Eliminator, screen height is a useful way to balance wind protection for longer country rides with the appearance of the front end.
• Protectors: These help limit damage to the areas they cover in a minor fall. For an Eliminator that sees regular urban use, parking manoeuvres and moving the bike at a standstill are practical reasons to consider protection, rather than preparing it for sporty riding.
• Mirrors: Keeping track of traffic behind you matters on the commute, especially when changing lanes. On this cruiser, balance the mirrors' appearance with a position that gives you a useful rearward view rather than one largely filled by your arms.
