Accessories for KAWASAKI ER-6F

Accessories for the Kawasaki ER-6f

The Kawasaki ER-6f is a faired road bike suited to weekday commuting as well as weekend rides. Accessories for that mix of riding need to do more than change its appearance. Wind protection matters on motorway stretches, crash protection is useful around town, and the position of the controls deserves attention when you spend longer in the saddle.

What riders usually fit to the Kawasaki ER-6f

• Screens: wind protection becomes more noticeable when your commute leaves town and joins faster roads. A different screen can help tailor the ER-6f to those longer, exposed stretches rather than focusing solely on short urban journeys.
• Crash protectors and bars: daily parking and low-speed manoeuvres bring the possibility of a stationary drop. On a faired bike such as the ER-6f, these accessories can help limit damage to the areas they protect.
• Handlebars: hand position affects the load on your arms and back. If your ER-6f handles both urban traffic and longer country-road rides, the handlebar is worth considering as part of your overall riding position.
• Levers: stop-start commuting means frequent clutch and brake use. Lever shape and reach influence how comfortable those controls feel, and matter just as much when a winding weekend route calls for repeated braking and gear changes.
• Footrests: where your feet sit contributes to your posture on longer rides. For an ER-6f used on weekend trips, consider foot position alongside the handlebars rather than treating upper-body comfort and leg position as separate questions.
