Accessories for the Kawasaki VN1500 Classic FI

The Kawasaki VN1500 Classic FI is a cruiser suited to unhurried road rides and weekend outings. Choosing accessories for this kind of riding starts with how you sit on the bike and how long you spend on the road. Short trips through town call for a different approach from a full day on country roads, especially when the route includes faster stretches between them.

What riders usually fit to the Kawasaki VN1500 Classic FI

• Handlebars: changing the bars lets you adjust hand position and reach to suit the relaxed riding associated with this cruiser. On longer outings, the aim is to settle into a posture that does not leave your shoulders tense or have you reaching unnecessarily far forwards.
• Screens: useful for reducing wind exposure when a weekend ride takes you onto open roads or dual carriageways. For the VN1500 Classic FI, the choice is about balancing coverage for longer journeys with a screen shape that sits comfortably alongside its cruiser styling.
• Protectors: can help limit contact between parts of the bike and the ground during a stationary or low-speed fall. They are worth considering when your road rides also involve frequent parking stops, tight manoeuvres or negotiating confined spaces around town.
• Mirrors: offer a way to complement the bike’s appearance while keeping rearward vision a priority. When moving between town traffic and open roads, a clear view past your shoulders matters for joining traffic and changing lanes, not just for the occasional glance behind.

Plan a handlebar change alongside mirror positioning. A relaxed reach to the grips should work with a useful rearward view, rather than making you compromise one for the other.
