Accessories for KAWASAKI VN800 DRIFTER

Kawasaki VN800 Drifter accessories for relaxed riding

The Kawasaki VN800 Drifter is a cruiser suited to unhurried road rides and leisurely days out. It can handle everyday journeys too, so useful additions depend on where you spend your time: riding position matters on longer outings, while wind protection becomes more valuable once you leave town.

What riders usually fit to the Kawasaki VN800 Drifter

• Handlebars: On a cruiser used for relaxed road riding, the reach to the grips helps shape how comfortable you feel throughout the day. A different handlebar can alter hand height and reach, helping you tailor your arm position rather than adopt a sportier stance.
• Screens: A screen helps deflect airflow away from your upper body when you take the Drifter onto open roads. It is a particularly useful addition for longer outings, where sustained exposure to the wind matters more than on short journeys around town.
• Protectors: Parking, roadside stops and low-speed manoeuvres are still part of a leisurely ride on the VN800 Drifter. Protectors help limit damage to the areas they cover in a minor fall, adding a practical safeguard alongside changes focused on riding comfort.
• Mirrors: For town journeys on the Drifter, a useful rearward view deserves as much attention as the look of the mirrors. Their position should work with your handlebar setup and riding posture, allowing you to see behind rather than mostly seeing your arms.

Choosing parts for your VN800 Drifter's year
