Accessories for KAWASAKI VN900 CLASSIC

Accessories for the Kawasaki VN900 Classic

The Kawasaki VN900 Classic suits relaxed weekend rides and road trips where a comfortable riding position matters more than a sporty stance. As a cruiser, it also lends itself to personal touches. Choosing accessories is therefore about balancing its classic look with practical changes that make sense for your time in town or out on the open road.

What riders usually fit to the Kawasaki VN900 Classic

• Handlebars: changing the bars lets you adjust the position of your arms as well as the appearance of the bike. For longer outings on the VN900 Classic, a comfortable reach to the grips deserves as much attention as the overall cruiser silhouette.
• Screens: a screen helps direct airflow away from your upper body when a short ride turns into a longer day out. It is particularly useful if your VN900 Classic spends more time on open roads than making brief journeys through town.
• Protectors: these can help shield exposed areas from minor knocks or a stationary tip-over. On a cruiser used for weekend trips, that protection is relevant at the stops along the way, including parking manoeuvres and turning round outside a café.
• Mirrors: they can change the look of the handlebar area while providing a view of traffic behind you. For a VN900 Classic that mixes urban riding with country roads, the aim is to retain its custom character without overlooking rearward visibility when joining traffic.

Choosing parts for your VN900 Classic model year

The VN900 Classic has changed over the years, with 2006-2013, 2014-2016 and 2017 versions to consider. Parts such as exhausts do not fit every version, with exhaust differences particularly relevant to the 2017 model.
