Accessories for the Kawasaki Z e-1

The Kawasaki Z e-1 is a naked bike suited to everyday journeys across town and rides around the city outskirts. Those journeys make comfort and protection useful starting points: managing wind on open roads, protecting exposed areas when parking and getting your riding position right. Styling changes can follow once the practical needs of your commute are covered.

What riders usually fit to the Kawasaki Z e-1

• Screens: help divert airflow away from your upper body when your route takes you beyond town. On a naked bike such as the Z e-1, a screen is particularly relevant if your commute includes stretches of open road rather than just short hops between traffic lights.
• Protectors and crash protection: are worth considering if daily use involves tight parking spaces, shared parking areas or manoeuvring beside other vehicles. They help limit damage to the areas they cover during minor knocks or a stationary fall, making them a practical priority for an urban Z e-1.
• Footrests and handlebars: influence where your feet sit and how you reach the controls. For regular trips through town, the aim is a comfortable riding position that works in stop-start traffic as well as on clearer roads, rather than a stance focused solely on sporty riding.
• Phone mounts: keep navigation directions visible when you are finding an unfamiliar address or making several stops around town. For the Z e-1's everyday urban role, that can be more convenient than repeatedly pulling over to retrieve your phone. Set the route before you move off.
• Number plate holders: offer a way to tidy the appearance of the rear, an area that stands out on a naked bike. For a Z e-1 used mainly for commuting, this is a styling change to consider after addressing wind exposure, riding position and protection for daily parking.
