Accessories for the Kawasaki Z900RS SE

Retro styling is a defining part of the Kawasaki Z900RS SE, but this naked bike is just as suited to everyday journeys as leisurely rides along winding roads. Accessories should reflect how you actually use it, balancing comfort and protection with its classic look. A city commute puts different demands on your setup from a long afternoon on country roads or a weekend away with luggage.

What riders usually fit to the Kawasaki Z900RS SE

• Screens: Longer road rides make wind exposure more noticeable on a naked bike. A screen can redirect some of that airflow, making it a worthwhile consideration for regular trips beyond town. Its size and shape also affect how much of the Z900RS SE’s retro outline remains visible.
• Crash protection: Everyday use often involves parking, tight turns and low-speed manoeuvres, particularly in town. Crash bobbins or bars can help limit damage in a stationary or slow-speed fall. On a retro naked, their visual impact is also worth weighing against the protection they provide.
• Levers: Frequent clutch and brake use in traffic makes the way the controls feel especially relevant. On winding roads, comfortable operation matters too. Levers offer a way to personalise this contact point while choosing a finish that sits naturally alongside the Z900RS SE’s classic styling.
• Mirrors: Their shape has a noticeable effect on the appearance of a retro motorcycle, so they are a useful focus for subtle visual changes. If your riding mixes urban traffic with country roads, a useful rearward view should take priority over appearance alone.
• Luggage: Cases make sense when a day out becomes an overnight trip, giving clothing and personal belongings somewhere to go other than a rucksack. For a Z900RS SE that still handles daily journeys, keeping luggage volume proportionate to the trip avoids adding unnecessary bulk.
