Accessories for the Kawasaki ZZR1400

The Kawasaki ZZR1400 brings a sporting approach to road riding and long-distance touring. A day on winding roads calls for a different set-up from a week away with a pillion. Wind protection and luggage become priorities as the miles add up, while your riding position remains important whether you are touring or enjoying a shorter weekend ride.

What riders usually fit to the Kawasaki ZZR1400

• Screens: worth considering when your routes include long stretches of open road. Screen shape affects how the airflow reaches you, so your usual riding position matters just as much as preserving the ZZR1400’s sporting appearance.
• Luggage: makes room for clothing and personal items on overnight trips without relying solely on a rucksack. For touring with a pillion, having somewhere to carry both riders’ belongings becomes a practical part of planning the journey.
• Handlebar components and footrests: worth exploring when you want to tailor where your hands and feet sit. On the ZZR1400, the aim is to balance a sporting riding position with comfort over a full day on the road.
• Protectors and crash protection: help limit damage to exposed areas in minor scrapes or low-speed falls. For a sports-orientated road bike used for touring, parking manoeuvres and stops with luggage aboard are useful situations to keep in mind.
• Phone mounts: provide a visible place for your phone when using it for navigation on unfamiliar roads. On longer trips, they also let you check the route while stopped without searching through your luggage for the handset.

Choose parts for your ZZR1400’s year

The ZZR1400 has changed over the years, and the 2006-2011 and 2012-2020 versions do not use all the same accessories. Parts such as footrests, handlebar components and phone mounts are not interchangeable across every year. Choose your bike’s year on this page to see only the parts that fit your version.
