Accessories for the KTM 690 Supermoto

Twisting roads and short urban journeys are natural territory for the KTM 690 Supermoto. Its supermoto character puts riding position and protection ahead of luggage when deciding what to fit. A bike used for weekday traffic faces different demands from one taken out mainly for weekend rides, so a useful starting point is how you actually spend your time on it.

What riders usually fit to the KTM 690 Supermoto

• Handlebars: Bar position affects how your arms and wrists sit while riding. When your 690 switches between tight urban manoeuvres and a more active approach on winding roads, tailoring that riding position can be a more worthwhile first step than changing its appearance.
• Crash bobbins and crash bars: These help limit damage if the bike tips over at a standstill or low speed. For a KTM used around town every day, frequent stops and parking manoeuvres give this protection a practical role beyond preparations for recreational rides.
• Protectors: These provide more targeted coverage alongside crash protection, addressing exposed areas rather than focusing solely on a fall. On a 690 used for both commuting and country roads, they bring everyday scuffs and minor knocks into the picture when planning your setup.
• Exhausts: An option for giving your supermoto a different visual character, particularly if personalising it is part of the enjoyment of weekend riding. This is a separate consideration from improving your riding position or adding protection.
