Accessories for KYMCO DOWNTOWN 300i

Accessories for the Kymco Downtown 300i

City commuting and journeys beyond town call for slightly different accessories on the Kymco Downtown 300i. This scooter suits both kinds of riding, so useful additions are about more than appearance. Wind protection matters on open roads, while comfortable controls, a clear view behind and security when parked deserve attention during the working week. Start with the parts of your regular journey that you would most like to make easier.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco Downtown 300i

• Windscreens: help take wind pressure off your upper body on faster roads. If your Downtown 300i commute includes a stretch outside town, a screen can make that section more comfortable rather than focusing all your changes on low-speed urban riding.
• Handlebar accessories: let you tailor your contact with the controls, with hand comfort a practical priority. Stop-start traffic means frequent use of the throttle and brakes, while longer journeys make a comfortable hand position just as relevant to this everyday scooter.
• Mirrors: help you keep track of traffic approaching from behind at junctions and when merging or changing lanes. On a Downtown 300i used around town, an easy rearward view from your normal riding position is more useful than choosing by appearance alone.
• Phone mounts: hold your phone for navigation when work takes you to an unfamiliar address or you venture beyond your usual route. Set the destination before you leave, and pull over somewhere safe before making any changes to the route.
• Anti-theft devices: provide a physical deterrent while your scooter is parked outside work or during errands. For a Downtown 300i regularly left on the street, a device that is straightforward to fit and remove is easier to make part of every stop.
