Accessories for the Kymco G-Dink 50

The Kymco G-Dink 50 is a scooter for everyday journeys around town, whether that means commuting, getting to college or running errands. Frequent junctions, parking stops and short trips put the emphasis on your riding position and awareness of surrounding traffic. Accessories for this kind of use should help with those regular tasks rather than add unnecessary clutter to the scooter.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco G-Dink 50

• Handlebars: As your main point of contact for steering, the handlebars also influence your riding position. For stop-start journeys on the G-Dink 50, a natural hand position and comfortable reach to the controls matter more than a layout intended for a very different riding style.
• Mirrors: These help you keep track of following traffic as you approach junctions, prepare to change lanes or pull away from a parking space. For a scooter used on busy town streets, positioning them well makes rearward checks easier without repeatedly shifting your riding position.
• Protectors: Regular parking and wheeling the scooter through tight spaces can expose parts to minor scuffs. Protectors help shield the areas they cover, making them worth considering when your G-Dink 50 spends the day moving between work, shops and other stops around town.
• Phone mounts: A mount holds your phone in place for navigation when an errand takes you to an unfamiliar address or across several neighbourhoods. Set the route before moving off and position the screen clear of the instruments, so there is no need to handle the phone while riding.

The range includes accessories from Puig. When fitting a phone mount alongside other handlebar accessories, leave room to operate the controls and turn the steering freely without anything getting in the way.
