Accessories for the Kymco Grand Dink 50

The Kymco Grand Dink 50 is a scooter suited to everyday urban journeys, from commuting to running errands across town. With frequent stops, junctions and parking manoeuvres, the most useful additions focus on your riding position, rearward view and practical navigation. For this kind of riding, attention to the handlebar area can be more relevant than equipment intended for long-distance touring.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco Grand Dink 50

• Handlebars: handlebars shape your riding position, which matters when a short city journey involves plenty of stopping and turning. For this kind of use on the Grand Dink 50, the aim is a relaxed reach rather than a position that leaves your arms stretched or your wrists strained.
• Mirrors: busy streets mean keeping track of traffic behind as well as ahead. On the daily commute, a clear rearward view is useful when approaching junctions, changing lanes or pulling away from the kerb. Prioritise a view that does not require you to shift sideways to see past your arms.
• Protectors: parking and moving the scooter by hand in tight spaces create opportunities for accidental knocks. Protectors help limit the effects of minor contact, making them a practical addition if your Grand Dink 50 spends its days on short errands with several stops along the way.
• Phone mounts: for trips to an unfamiliar address, a phone mount gives your navigation screen a fixed place on the scooter. From your urban riding position, it should be easy to glance at without hiding the instruments or obstructing the handlebars as they turn. Set the route before moving off.
