Accessories for the Kymco K-Pipe 125

The Kymco K-Pipe 125 suits everyday urban journeys and short trips beyond town. The right accessories depend on how those miles add up: a commute through busy junctions places different demands on you from a ride between neighbouring towns. For stop-start use, controls and protection deserve attention first. If your regular route includes stretches of open road, a screen becomes a more useful part of the setup.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco K-Pipe 125

• Screens: help deflect airflow when your journey takes you out of town and onto open roads. For a K-Pipe used to commute between towns rather than just across the city centre, a screen addresses a practical riding need rather than simply changing its appearance.
• Protectors: aim to reduce damage to the areas they cover in minor knocks or falls. Daily urban riding involves frequent parking manoeuvres and stops, so protection is a sensible starting point for a K-Pipe that handles your regular journey to work.
• Levers: the brake lever is a frequently used contact point on routes filled with traffic lights and queues. Replacing it gives you an opportunity to consider its shape and reach, particularly when your daily ride involves repeated braking and low-speed manoeuvres.
• Number plate holders: change the visual finish around the rear of the bike. On a K-Pipe used mainly for everyday transport, they offer a way to personalise its appearance once you have addressed the more practical priorities of protection and wind deflection.

Accessory brands available for this Kymco include Puig and Givi. Keep a city-focused setup centred on daily riding needs, with a screen taking greater priority if open-road journeys are a regular part of your week.
