Accessories for the Kymco New Downtown 350i

The Kymco New Downtown 350i is a scooter suited to town journeys, commuting from the outskirts and rides on open roads. The accessories that earn their place depend on where you spend your time. Frequent stops make parking security particularly useful, while longer stretches on faster roads put wind protection higher on the list. Everyday use through colder months brings weather protection into the picture too.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco New Downtown 350i

• Windscreens: help deflect airflow away from your body on the open-road part of a commute. If your Downtown regularly takes you beyond urban speed limits, wind protection becomes more relevant than it would be on short journeys through local streets.
• Mirrors: a useful rearward view matters when moving between lanes, passing junctions and dealing with buses in town. For everyday scooter riding, being able to monitor following traffic without repeatedly shifting your riding position is a practical priority.
• Phone mounts: let you use your phone for navigation when visiting unfamiliar addresses or heading out for a weekend ride. The mounting position should keep the instruments visible and leave the handlebars free to turn during tight urban manoeuvres.
• Security locks: are especially relevant if your scooter spends the working day parked on the street. With regular stops for errands, a lock that is straightforward to carry and use makes security part of the daily routine rather than something reserved for overnight parking.
• Covers and leg covers: serve different parts of year-round scooter use. A leg cover provides extra shelter from the cold while riding, whereas a bike cover helps shield the Downtown when parked outdoors between commutes or over the weekend.
