Accessories for the Kymco X-Town 125i ABS

Daily commuting and trips across town are natural territory for the Kymco X-Town 125i ABS. As a scooter used for both urban journeys and roads between towns, it benefits from accessories chosen around your regular route. Wind protection matters more when your commute takes you beyond sheltered streets, while comfortable controls and practical security come into focus when your day involves frequent stops. Start with how you ride rather than appearance alone.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco X-Town 125i ABS

• Screens: useful for reducing wind exposure on the more open sections of a commute. If your X-Town journey combines town-centre traffic with ring roads, a screen addresses a different need from accessories intended mainly for short urban hops.
• Handlebar accessories: help tailor the area where your hands spend every journey. With repeated turns, junctions and traffic lights on a city ride, a relaxed hand position and comfortable access to the controls deserve attention before cosmetic changes.
• Mirrors: give you a view of traffic behind as you prepare to change lanes or join a busy road. For an X-Town used around town, a useful rearward view should take priority over choosing a particular mirror shape for its looks.
• Phone mounts: keep navigation directions in view when errands take you into unfamiliar streets or your destination changes from day to day. Set the route before moving off, so there is no need to handle the phone while riding.
• Security locks: provide an extra security measure when the scooter is parked outside work or left on the street between errands. If you make several stops each day, straightforward fitting helps make using a lock part of every parking routine.
