Accessories for the Kymco X-Town 300

The Kymco X-Town 300 is a scooter suited to urban travel and journeys beyond town. A short ride through traffic places different demands on it from a commute that includes faster roads. Choosing useful accessories starts with that distinction: wind protection matters more on exposed stretches, while carrying space and a clear view of surrounding traffic are everyday priorities around the city.

What riders usually fit to the Kymco X-Town 300

• Windscreens: worth prioritising if your commute takes you onto faster roads. A screen helps redirect airflow during those longer stretches, with its height and your riding position influencing how much shelter it provides.
• Mirrors: useful for keeping track of traffic behind you as you approach junctions, join busy roads or change lanes. For daily scooter riding, the aim is a useful rearward view from your normal seated position.
• Phone mounts: hold your phone when you need navigation to an unfamiliar address or across a different part of town. Set the route before moving off, and stop somewhere safe if you need to make changes.
• Luggage: adds carrying space for work essentials and errands, making sense if you would rather leave your backpack at home. It is also useful when a weekend ride on your X-Town 300 calls for a few extra belongings.
• Covers and leg covers: address different sides of year-round scooter use, from covering the machine while parked to sheltering your legs on the move. They are particularly relevant for outdoor parking and commuting in cooler weather.

For mostly urban journeys, carrying space and shelter on chilly mornings may deserve attention first. When longer road sections are part of your routine, windscreen choice becomes a more significant part of the setup.
