Accessories for the Mondial HPS 300i

The Mondial HPS 300i’s retro styling makes visual details part of its appeal, but accessories can do more than change its looks. For commuting through town and heading out on country roads, the useful choices depend on where you spend your riding time. Wind protection, protection against minor mishaps and comfortable hand controls each address a different part of that routine.

What riders usually fit to the Mondial HPS 300i

• Screens: A screen helps deflect some of the airflow when your journey takes you beyond town. On the retro-styled HPS 300i, its shape also becomes part of the bike’s appearance, so wind protection and visual balance are worth considering together.
• Protectors: Daily urban use can mean manoeuvring around parked cars and moving the bike through tight parking spaces. Protectors help limit damage to the areas they cover during minor mishaps, making them a practical starting point for a regularly used HPS 300i.
• Levers: Stop-start traffic keeps your clutch and brake hands busy. Lever shape affects how your fingers rest on the controls, so this is a useful area to focus on when preparing your Mondial for frequent cross-town journeys rather than occasional weekend rides.
• Number plate holders: These offer a way to personalise the plate mounting and the appearance of the rear end. They suit an HPS 300i project where the aim is to refine its outline and keep the details in tune with its retro character.
• Phone mounts: If you use navigation to find unfamiliar city addresses or follow a weekend road route, a mount gives your phone a dedicated position on the bike. Set your destination before moving off rather than adjusting the route while riding.

For a town-focused HPS 300i, protection and hand controls are sensible priorities. If open-road riding features more often, a screen deserves attention before purely cosmetic changes.
