Accessories for the MV Agusta Brutale 1090 RR

The MV Agusta Brutale 1090 RR is a sporty naked bike suited to winding-road rides as well as everyday journeys. Those two uses put different demands on your setup: wind exposure matters on faster stretches, while comfort at the controls becomes more noticeable in town. With much of the bike on show, finishing details also play a part. The most useful additions depend on whether your riding centres on the weekday commute, weekend outings or a mixture of both.

What riders usually fit to the MV Agusta Brutale 1090 RR

• Screens: help divert some of the airflow away from your torso on an unfaired bike. They are particularly useful when reaching your favourite twisty roads involves a stretch of motorway.
• Protectors: add protection around exposed areas and can help limit damage in a low-speed fall. They make practical sense for a Brutale that also spends time negotiating town traffic and parking spaces.
• Levers: let you personalise the brake and clutch contact points. Comfort here matters during repeated clutch use in stop-start traffic and when working the front brake on a winding-road ride.
• Tail tidies: change the number plate mounting arrangement and the appearance of the rear end. They suit a styling-focused setup intended to emphasise the Brutale’s sporty naked-bike look.
• Bolts and fasteners: offer a way to refine visible finishing details. On a naked bike such as the Brutale, these small touches are more noticeable than they would be behind a full fairing.

Choosing parts for the 2010-2014 and 2015-2018 versions

The Brutale 1090 RR has changed over the years, so do not assume that the 2010-2014 and 2015-2018 versions take all the same accessories. Whether you are looking at screens, protectors or tail tidies, choose your bike’s year on this page to see only the parts that fit yours.
