Accessories for the MV Agusta Brutale 800

The MV Agusta Brutale 800 is a sporting naked bike, well suited to winding roads but equally usable for everyday journeys around town. Those two roles put the emphasis on rider support, protection for exposed parts and managing wind pressure on open roads. A bike used for short urban trips calls for different priorities from one that regularly spends several hours out on country roads.

What riders usually fit to the MV Agusta Brutale 800

• Screens: help take some wind pressure off your upper body, which is particularly relevant on a naked bike. They are worth considering when reaching your favourite bends involves a stretch of motorway or dual carriageway.
• Protectors: help limit damage to exposed areas if the bike falls over. For a Brutale 800 used around town as well as on weekend rides, parking manoeuvres and low-speed mishaps are practical reasons to prioritise protection.
• Footpegs: provide an important point of support when moving your body through a series of bends. That support needs to work alongside a leg position you can live with on the weekday commute, too.
• Number plate holders: can give the rear of the Brutale 800 a tidier appearance. They suit a styling-led approach that keeps the bike's naked character, rather than adding luggage capacity or weather protection.
• Phone mounts: are useful when your Brutale 800 takes you through unfamiliar city streets or onto new country roads. They provide a fixed place for your phone, keeping route guidance in view on those journeys.

Choosing parts for your Brutale 800's year

The Brutale 800 has changed over the years, so the 2013-2014, 2015-2018 and 2019-2023 versions do not always take the same parts. Exhausts and passenger accessories are examples of items that cannot be treated as interchangeable across every version.
