Accessories for the Suzuki GN250

The Suzuki GN250 is a custom-style motorcycle suited to everyday journeys and unhurried rides on country roads. How you split your time between town and the open road helps determine what to fit. Wind protection becomes more useful on longer stretches, while handlebar position and a clear rearward view matter when working your way through urban traffic.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki GN250

• Screens: help deflect airflow away from your body once you leave town and settle into a steady ride. On a GN250 used for both commuting and relaxed outings, a screen adds wind protection for the road-going part of the journey without needing a sporty riding setup.
• Handlebars: influence your reach to the grips and the position of your arms. For this custom-style bike, the aim is a comfortable posture on leisurely rides that also lets you steer and manoeuvre naturally through junctions, parking spaces and the tighter turns of everyday town use.
• Mirrors: give you a view of following traffic when changing lanes in town or riding along country roads. They also make a noticeable difference to the GN250’s custom look, so this is one area where a visual update has a clear practical role on daily journeys.
• Protectors: provide protection for the areas they cover against minor knocks or a stationary drop. On a GN250 ridden regularly around town, their relevance lies in everyday parking manoeuvres and frequent stops rather than in preparing the motorcycle for aggressive riding.

For mainly urban use, put riding position and rearward visibility first. If your regular route includes longer stretches outside town, give wind protection a higher place on the list.
